As much of us know that stomach flu is an illness caused by several kinds of virus and we can only know we are infected once we feel the signs of stomach flu. Stomach Flu Symptoms – Diarrhea
The very well known stomach flu does not have any respiratory condition symptoms. Yet, stomach flu mostly affects our intestines. The main sign of having a stomach flu is Diarrhea. If we have to observe, diarrhea causes us to have a watery fecal discharge but without blood in it. However, if we see some blood in our fecal discharge, there is more than just an ordinary diarrhea. There is more infection aside from diarrhea and its more serious.
Symptoms of Stomach Flu – Nausea and Vomiting
Another signs of stomach flu or sign of having stomach virus is Nausea. Nausea is the uneasiness of the stomach that often accompanies the urge to vomit, yet does not always lead to vomiting. Vomiting on the other hand is the forcible voluntary or involuntary emptying of our stomach contents through the mouth. In most cases nausea and vomiting coincide but occurs separately at some times.
Other Symptoms of Stomach Flu
Aside from Diarrhea, Nausea and Vomiting, there are other signs of stomach flu. One is stomachache. Occasional headaches also occurs. In most some cases if the infected person has weak immune system like child or the aged, stomach flu is accompanied by fever. Fever is a sign of a viral gastroenteritis.
I guess I have mentioned some of the stomach flu signs, if not all. The stomach flu symptoms can be observed 1 to 3 days after a person has been infected. These stomach flu signs varies from mild to severe and last within just a matter of few days if proper care, attention and medication is given.
